I spent this beautiful day sewing and sipping O.J(a wonderful combination). Last week my serger's needleplate broke(in a freak accident....)and I was so sad. I called the local machine repair place and they said that my machine was so old the company that made it(Babylock)was bought out and the new company no longer manufactures parts for it anymore(ouch). I always buy older machines because(in my opinion)they are an entirely different quality from todays machines. They work and work and keep on working. So I bought a new(old)serger from an estate sale. It is a Juki and I love this baby! It is a slightly newer model than my old one(1980s instead of 1970s)and it is just so cute I have to share it.....
